Batik

Batik is a method of colouring on textiles. It was originally used in Java. Wax is applied on the parts of the textiles which are not intended to be coloured. After that, dye is applied on the cloth which produces coloured designs on the parts without wax. The cloth dyed using such a method is also called batik.
