Baud
Baud is a term in computing and telecommunications for a unit of the speed of transmission, named after J M E Baudot (1845-1903), the French engineer who invented a telegraph printing system. It is equal to the number of times a signal changes state per second. Thus one baud is equivalent to the number of pulses or bits per second.Nearby pages
