Beaker folk

Beaker folk is a term in archaeology used for a European people (c. 2700-1700 BC) of a late Neolithic and early Bronze Age. They were named after distinctive Beaker ware, the waisted pots characteristic of their graves. Since the beaker wares were discovered from their graves, it has been concluded that those must be associated with their burials. It also appears that those might have been used by them for keeping alcoholic drinks.
