Beatrix Potter

Beatrix Potter (1866-1943), full name Helen Beatrix Potter, was an English writer, illustrator, conservationist, and natural scientist. She is known for highly popular children's books featuring animals, such as her first book "The Tale of Peter Rabbit" (1902). Her books, including 23 Tales, have sold more than 250 million copies.
