Beaufort Sea

Beaufort Sea is a sea that lies to the north of Alaska and Canada. It is part of the Arctic Ocean. It is named after Sir Francis Beaufort (1774 — 1857), an English admiral and naval hydrographer known for devising Beaufort scale.
