Belgrade

Belgrade is the capital of Servia, on the Danube River close to the confluence of the Save and Danube. It is a fortified city in an important strategical position, and the centre of many conflicts. It is also a commercial centre. Once it was Turkish in appearance, but with passage of time have been becoming more and more European.
