Bell curve

Bell curve is a term in mathematics for a graph of a normal distribution, a function also known in statistics as Gaussian distribution named after German mathematician, astronomer, and physicist Karl Friedrich Gauss (1777 — 1855) who described it. It has a rounded peak that tapers away at each end. The graph is bell-shaped, hence its name.
