Bell

Bell is the surname of three fictitious authors' names - Currer Bell, Ellis Bell, and Acton Bell, adopted by the famous Brontë sisters Charlotte (1816 — 55), Emily (1818 — 48), and Anne (1820 — 49) respectively. They had adopted these pseudonyms because females were not seriously taken as authors at that time.
