Benazir Bhutto
Benazir Bhutto (1953 - 2007) was a Pakistani stateswoman. She was the first woman politician to become prime minister of a Muslim country. She served as prime minister twice during 1988 — 1990, and 1993 — 1996. She was daughter of former prime minister Julfikar Ali Bhutto. During exile in England was coleader of Pakistan People's Party, opposing General Zia ul Haq. She returned to Pakistan in 1986 and spearheaded campaign for open elections. Subsequently, she was elected prime minister in 1988, but lost office in 1990. She was re-elected prime minister in 1993. She was assassinated in 2007 in Pakistan while campaigning for re-election.Wisdom & Quotes
