Benzoquinone

Benzoquinone is a term in chemistry for a yellow crystalline compound having chemical formula C6H4O2. It is related to benzene but having two hydrogen atoms replaced by oxygen atoms. Two isomers of this compound are found - 1,4-benzoquinone with oxygen atoms on opposite, and 1,2-benzoquinone with adjacent carbon atoms.
