Berenice

Berenice (3rd century BC) was an Egyptian queen, the wife of Ptolemy III. As the legend relates, she offered her hair for the safe return of her husband from an expedition, which was stolen, and placed in heavens. It is now the constellation Coma Berenices, ie Berenice's hair.
