Bernardino Ochino

Bernardion Ochino (1487-1564) was an Italian monk, born in Sienna. After 40 years' zeal in the service of the Church he embraced the Reformed doctrine. He fled from the power of the Inquisition to Geneva and took refuge in England. He ministered here and there to Italian refugees, but was hunted from place to place. He died at last of the plague in Moravia.
