Bertin

Bertin "l'Ainé," or the Elder (1766-1841) was a French journalist. He was born at Paris. As a journalist, he is mainly known as founder and editor of the Journal des Débats, which he had started in 1799. He was a friend of the famous writer Châteaubriand.
