Bhagvatpuran

Bhagvatpuran is one of the eighteen Purans, which are collectively known as Indian mythology. Bhagvatpuran is spread in three hundred and thirty-two chapters and it has eighteen thousand verses, which are divided into twelve books. The first two books are about the cosmogony and the creative creation by the supreme. In the third book, the creation of Brahma is descried. In the fourth book there are histories of the kings. The fifth book is also about the story of some kings. The sixth book is about the worshipping of lord Vishnu and contains many lagends. In the seventh book, the story of Prahlad is narrated in detail. The eighth book is about the Manvantars. The ninth book is about the dynasties of the Vaivasvat Manvantar.The tenth book is about the history of lord Krishna. The eleventh book is about the destruction of the Yadav race and the death of lord Krishna. The twelfth book is about the kings and the final dissolution.
