Bhairav

Bhairav is one of the eight forms of lord Shiv. According to Indian mythology, Bhairav was also the inferior manifestations of Shiv. It is believed that this form was destructive in nature. In this form the vehicle of the lord Shiv is a dog.

There are eight forms of Bhairav. They are – Sanhar, Bhishan, Kapal, Unmatt, Krodh, Chand, Ruru and Asitang.
