Binge-purge syndrome

Binge-purge syndrome is a condition in which a patient suffering from bulimia nervosa undergoes bouts of extreme overeating, typically followed by depression and self-induced vomiting, purging, or fasting. It is an emotional disorder involving distortion of body image and an obsessive desire to lose weight.
