Bioko

Bioko is an island in Equatorial Guinea. The island is situated in the eastern part of the Gulf of Guinea. Malabo, the chief town and capital city of Equatorial Guinea is situated in this island. Formerly, the island was known by the names Macias Nguema (1973 — 79), and Fernando Póo until 1973.
