Biosurgery

Biosurgery is a term in medicine for medical use of living organism, such as maggots, to clean infected wounds. Such a process is adopted when conventional treatment by antibiotics does not work on a patient. The term is also applied to the process of using natural antibiotics that help in tissue repair, growth of new tissues, and healing the wounds.
