Bisque

Bisque, literally 'crayfish soup' in French, is a thick creamy soup. It is made typically with shellfish, especially lobster. This rich soup is also sometimes made with vegetables.

In sports, bisque is a point, an extra turn, or stroke, as in court tennis or croquet. It is allowed to a weaker player.

Bisque is also a fired pottery which is left unglazed, and also its light brown colour.
