Black Jew

Black Jew, often offensively called Falasha, is a member of a group in Ethiopia holding Jewish faith but using Ge'ez as liturgical language rather than Hebrew of the Jews. Until 1975, they were not formally recognied as Jews. In 1984-85, many of them were airlifted to Israel, the homeland of Jews.
