Black Mesa
Black Mesa, also called Black Mountain or Big Mountain, is an upland in northeastern Arizona, a state in the United States. This bowl-shaped region is spread in about 4,000 miles. It is located on the Colorado Plateau near Kayenta. It is home to the Navajo while the Hopi live on its extensions to the south. Apart from the Navajo and the Hopi reservations, there is also a joint use area for both the communities which is claimed by both of them.
