Black River

Black River is a river in the United States. It flows southeast for 300 miles (480 km) through southeastern Missouri and northeastern Arkansas, along the eastern edge of the Ozark Plateau, before it joins the White River at Jacksonport, Arkansas. It rises in Missouri as three streams: the East Fork rises in Iron County, the Middle Fork is formed by a confluence of creeks in the Mark Twain National Forest in northern Reynolds County, and the West Fork is formed by a confluence of creeks in the Mark Twain National Forest in western Reynolds County. They converge near Lesterville in Missouri.
