Black bass

Black bass is a freshwater fish. It is native to North American region, belongs to the sunfish family, popular as a food and sporting fish. It belongs to the genus Micropterus, and the family Centrarchidae. The largemouth bass (Micropterus salmoides) and the smallmouth bass (Micropterus dolomieui) are notable among its several species.
