Black grouse
Black grouse is a large Eurasian grouse, any of the group of birds. The male is called blackcock and the female a greyhen. The male has glossy blue-black plumage and a lyre-shaped tail. The males also display in communal leks, a gathering of males for competitive display and courtship rituals. Its zoological name is Tetrao tetrix, and it belongs to the family Tetraonidae or Phasianidae.
