Blantyre

Blantyre is a city in Malawi. It is chief industrial and commercial city of the country. The city is named after Blantyre in Scotland which was birth place of David Livingstone (1813 — 73) who was an explorer in Africa and a physician, Congregationalist, and pioneer Christian missionary with the London Missionary Society.
