Blight

Blight is a disease of plants that causes leaves, stems, fruits, and tissues to wither and die. It is cause by fungi such as rust, mildew, and smut. The insects or fungi causing a sudden dying of shoots, foliage or blossoms are also called blights, and also the things that spoil or damage something.
