Blind trust

Blind trust is a trust that manages funds of others, especially of persons in public office, and the owners of the funds do not know how their assets are managed. Persons in public offices give the administration of their private business interest to such blind trusts in order to avoid conflict of interest. The purpose of using blind trusts by persons in public offices is that they cannot be accused of using public office for private gains, because the trustee controls the financial investments without the beneficiary's knowledge as to how their assets are managed.
