Blindfish

Blindfish, also called cavefish, is a small fish with reduced or absent eyes. It is a small colourless fish which lives only in limestone caves in North America. The head an body of this fish are covered with papillae that are sensitive to vibration. Four genera of this fish are found including the Amblyopsis and Typhlichthys. It belongs to the family Amblyopsidae.
