Bloomsbury Group

The Bloomsbury Group was a group of writers, artists, and philosophers of the early 20th century. All of them were living in or associated with Bloomsbury, an areas of central London in the United Kingdom. The group played a remarkable role in growth of modernism. The members of the group were known for their unconventional lifestyles and attitudes. The group included Virginia Woolf, Lytton Strachey, Vanessa Bell, Duncan Grant, and Roger Fry.
