Blow

Blow is a strong wind. In blast furnace, it is an act of sending air into the furnace or molten metal. It is also an act of blowing on an instrument, such as a whistle, or informally a spell of playing jazz or rock music. The act of blowing one's nose, or a cloud of moisture-laden air exhaled by cetaceans, is also called a blow. Marijuana or cocaine is also informally called a blow.

A blow is also a sudden powerful attack or stroke with hand, hard object, or weapon. It is also a sudden heavy loss, great disappointment, or shock.

Blow is also a state of being flowering, or the period as such.
