Blue Book

Blue Book is a report issued by the Parliament or the Privy Council in Britain, name so because they are bound in blue cover. See also blue-books. An official book containing list of government officials, an authoritative handbook listing prominent people, and a blank book given to students for writing in an examination is also called blue book. Blue Book is also the short name of Kelley Blue Book, a trademarked reference book in the United States that contains prices of used cars.
