Blue ice

Blue ice is a glacial ice of vivid blue colour. It is clean and dense, and is formed in glaciers by the recrystalization of snow. It happens because the slow falling on glacier is compressed due to the pressure causes the air bubbles to be squeezed out resulting in increase in its density.
