Blue whale
Blue whale is a rorqual, the largest animal ever known to inhabit the earth. It grows as long as 110 feet (33 metres) and weighs up to 150 tons (136,000 kg), and is found in all oceans of the world. It is mottled and bluish-gray in colour. Its zoological name is Balaenoptera musculus, and it belongs to Balaenopteridae family.
