Bluebird

Bluebird is an American songbird. It is named so because of its male kind which has blue wings, back, and head. It belongs to the genus Sialia, family Muscicapidae, and the subfamily Turdinae ie the thrush subfamily. Three species of this bird are found which include the 'eastern bluebird' ie Sialia sialis. The term bluebird is also used to denote the period of time that is cloudless and sunny, typically after snowfall in the night, or anything related to this period, such as a bluebird sky.
