Bluebottle

Bluebottle is a common blowfly, named so because of a metallic-blue body. The female bluebottle often comes into people's home in search of food sources, not to eat but to lay its egg on. Its zoological name is Calliphora vomitoria, and it belogs to Calliphoridae family. Wild cornflower is also called bluebottle.
