Boa

Boa is a constrictor snake native to Asia, Africa, America, and some Pacific islands. It bears live young. It generally grows to a great size, about 10 feet average. There are several genera and numerous species of this snake. It belongs to the family Boidae. However, any constrictor snake is also called boa.
