Boat people

Boat people are the refugees in a country who have landed there by sea route. The term was especially applied for the Vietnamese refugees who fled their country after 1975 when North Vietnam conquered South Vietnam. The South Vietnamese fled in small boats to Hong Kong, Australian, and several other countries.
