Boatel is a boat that serves as hotel. The word is a blend of boat and the last two letters of hotel. However, nowadays, even ships are moored at wharfs and used as hotels, which are also called boatels. Even a hotel at a waterside is called a boatel that provides facilities of mooring boats there.
