Body Dysmorphic Disorder

Body Dysmorphic Disorder, or BDD in short, is a mental health condition, in which the patient is obsessed with some imaginary defects in their appearance. Such a person finds oneself unable to stop thinking about one or more perceived defects or flaws in one's own appearance, though they are not perceivable by others. Consequently, the patient feels embarrassed, ashamed, and anxious while appearing in the society. Such a patient is also found avoiding appearance in the society.
