Brégnet

Brégnet (1747-1823), full name Abraham-Louis Breguet, was a French chronometer-maker, born at Neuchâtel, then a Prussian principality. He was a famous watchmaker and inventor of astronomical instruments. Alongside his friend and contemporary John Arnold, Breguet is now widely acknowledged as one of the greatest horologists of all time.
