Brethren of the Common Life
Brethren of the Common Life was a Dutch branch of the "Friends of God," founded at Deventer by Gerard Groote in the Netherlands. This Roman Catholic religious community was founded in the late 14th century, perhaps in 1374. The society was extant until 16th century.Nearby pages
