Bute
Bute, also the Isle of Bute, is an island in the Firth of Clyde in Scotland in the United Kingdom. It is about 16 miles long and from 3 to 5 broad, North of Arran. The island is separated from the mainland on the North by a winding romantic arm of the sea called the "Kyles of Bute." It had nearly all the Marquis of Bute's property, with his seat at Mount Stuart. It was formerly a constituent island of the larger County of Bute but now part of the council area of Argyll and Bute.Nearby pages
