Calpurnia
Calpurnia (m. 59 BC–44 BC) was the last among the three wives of Julius Cæsar (100 BC – 44 BC), daughter of the consul Piso. She was married to Caesar after death of his first two wives Cornelia (m. 83 BC–68 BC), and Pompeia (m. 68 BC–62 BC). Calpurnia, alive to the danger of conspiracy, urged Cæsar to stay at home the day he was assassinated.Nearby pages
