Canopus

Canopus is the blue vault of heaven with its stars, revered and worshipped by the son of the sandy desert as a friend and guide to him, as he wanders over the waste at night alone. It is also called named Alpha Carinae or the brightest star in the constellation Carina, and the second brightest in the sky and one of the 57 stars of celestial navigation. Previously, the stars of this constellation were part of Argo Navis, which has since been broken up into four different constellations.
