Carbon Nanotubes

Carbon Nanotubes are essentially molecular-scale tubes of graphitic carbon displaying electronic and other remarkable properties. The extremely thin Carbon Nanotubes with diameters about 10,000 times smaller than a human hair can be counted among the stiffest and strongest fibres.
