Carl David Anderson

Carl David Anderson (1905-91) was a US physicist. His is known for the discovery of the positron, the first antiparticle. He discovered positron in 1932 for which he was awarded Nobel Prize for Physics in 1936. He shared this prize with another physicist Victor F Hess.
