A cartoon is a sketch or drawing in media often with a comment underneath. It is funny and often a criticism in itself. These are usually humorous, as in a newspaper or periodical, symbolizing, satirizing, or caricaturing some action, subject, or person of popular interest. Origin of this words dates back to 1665–75.

A ((Cartoonist)) observes people and objects and  then uses his creative faculty to make a statement or criticism in dots and lines.
