Cassel
Cassel, also Kassel, is a city in central Germany. It was capital of Hesse-Cassel, a state of the Holy Roman Empire. It is an interesting town, 120 miles from Frankfort-on-Main. It is the birthplace of Bunsen. Kassel was designated as the capital of a new Kingdom of Westphalia, where Napoleon appointed his brother Jérôme Bonaparte as king.Nearby pages
