Chandravansh
Chandravansh is the second great line of royal dynasties in India. According to Hindu mythological texts, this lunar race of kings descended from Chandrama the moon-god. Chadrama is the son of sage Atri. Chandrama had a son named Budh who was begotten on Tara the wife of Brihaspati. Budh had a son named Pururava by his wife Ila. Ayu was Pururava's son by Urvashi. Ayu had a son named Nahush who became the father of Yayati. Yayati had two sons, Puru and Yadu, and after that the lunar dynasty branched into two - the Pury Dynasty and the Yadu Dynasty. Dushyant, Bharat, Kauravas, and Pandavas are all belong to the Puru line. Krishna belonged to Yadu line. Balram is also said to have belonged to Yadu dynasty.
