Charles (Samuel) Addams

Charles (Samuel) Addams (1912-88) was a US cartoonist famous for his macabre characters. His cartoons were being published in the New Yorker magazine from 1935.

His characters were serialized in television shows like The Addams Family (1964-66) and movies in the subsequent decades.
